What yours is worth

Which ones hold their value?

Offers come from the model, the condition and what that exact thing is reselling for this week — not a fixed chart printed last year.

Strongest offers

Current mirrorless

Full-frame mirrorless bodies from Canon, Sony and Nikon hold value well, and good glass holds it even better.

  • EOS R5
  • A7R V
  • Z8
  • A7 IV
Still strong

Enthusiast and APS-C

Fujifilm in particular has a devoted following, and the X100 line sells the moment it's listed.

  • X100VI
  • X-T5
  • A6700
  • Z6
Worth selling

DSLRs and action cams

DSLR values have fallen but there's still a market, especially for good lenses and popular bodies.

Why sell locally

Nothing ships. Nothing waits.

Selling online means packing it, insuring it, and trusting that the offer survives someone else's inspection. Locally, the whole thing is over in about five minutes.

No shipping No box, no insurance, no tracking number, and nothing sitting in a van somewhere.
No waiting No listing that sits for three weeks while the thing quietly loses value.
No scams or chargebacks No fake payment screenshots, no reversed transfers a week later, no no-shows.
Same-day payment Cash, Venmo or Cash App, handed over the moment it checks out.
How it works

Four steps, usually inside a day.

01

Send the details

Text the model and roughly what shape it is in. A photo helps if anything is damaged.

02

Get a quote

A cash number based on current resale demand comes back, usually within minutes.

03

Meet locally

A coffee shop or another busy public spot, anywhere in Clark County or Portland. Evenings are fine.

04

Get paid

We check it in front of you, confirm the number, and pay on the spot.

Before you sell

A few minutes of prep.

Do these before we meet and the handover takes two minutes. Stuck on any of them? Bring it anyway — we will walk you through it in person.

  • Format the memory cardOr keep the card — just make sure your photos are off it either way.
  • Find the batteries and chargerCameras take proprietary batteries. Spares add to the offer; a missing charger takes away from it.
  • Bring every lensGlass is frequently worth more than the body. Bring caps and hoods too.
  • Check the shutter count if you canOn a DSLR it's the equivalent of mileage, and buyers ask.
  • Look for fungus or hazeHold a lens up to the light. Internal haze affects value, and we'd rather know up front.

Questions

The things people text us first.

Are lenses worth selling on their own?

Often they're the most valuable part. Good glass holds value far better than bodies do — bring everything, including older manual lenses.

Do you buy film cameras?

Yes. Working film bodies and especially good lenses have a strong following right now.

Does shutter count matter?

On DSLRs, yes — it's how buyers judge wear. On mirrorless it matters less but still comes up.

What about a camera with fungus in the lens?

Still bought, at a reduced number. Fungus is a real problem in the Northwest and we see it often.
