Which ones hold their value?
Offers come from the model, the condition and what that exact thing is reselling for this week — not a fixed chart printed last year.
M3 and M4
Current Apple silicon brings the highest numbers by a wide margin, and the 14- and 16-inch Pros hold value especially well.
- Pro 16" M4
- Pro 14" M4
- Air 15" M4
- Pro M3
M1 and M2
Still fast enough for most people, which keeps second-hand demand steady. A very easy sell in good condition.
- Pro M2
- Air M2
- Pro M1
- Air M1
Intel MacBooks
Worth less than Apple silicon but far from worthless, and dropping every year. Better sold now than kept in a drawer.
- Pro (Intel)
- Air (Intel)

The things people text us first.
Is an old Intel MacBook still worth anything?
Yes, though considerably less than Apple silicon. They're still in demand for basic use and for parts, and the value keeps falling — so sooner beats later.
The battery is shot. Does that kill it?
No. Battery replacement is a known cost we factor in. Send the cycle count with your text and the quote will already account for it.
What about a cracked screen or dead keys?
Still bought. Screen and keyboard repairs are expensive on newer models so it moves the number, but you'll get a real figure.
Do I need the charger?
Not required, but bring it if you have it. The original brick adds to the offer, particularly on the higher-wattage Pro models.
