- Factory resetSettings → System → Reset → Erase all data.
- Pull the SIM and SD cardEasy to forget, and your photos are probably on that card.
- Know the storage sizeSettings → About phone. It changes the number.
- Remove your Samsung accountSettings → Accounts → Samsung account. This is separate from your Google account and both have to go.

What if it's still locked to a carrier?

Is the S Pen worth including?
Yes, on Ultra and Note models. A missing S Pen comes off the offer, so bring it if you have it.
What about a phone still on a payment plan?
Mention it when you text. A financed phone can still be sold, but the balance affects what we can offer.
